Why do you need a Woods Precision Super Seeder? One of the many seeds that you can plant is clover. A majority of cattle in this area graze on fescue and orchard grass pastures. Clover can be added to improve increased yield and animal performance. As a legume, clover, will add nitrogen to the soil to improve soil and plant health.  Planting white clover, red clover, and annual lespedeza can extend the grazing season.

START PLANNING NOW for better pastures and hay fields. The best time to plant clover seed is February 20 to March 31. You can apply for $2,500 TAEP Livestock Equipment Grant for the Woods Precision Super Seeder October 1-15, 2018. Find the TAEP Application here.
